What a fantastic ride.

What a fantastic ride. It was hard to give a title for this one.

After a lot of thinking, after 3.5 years at Overwolf, I would like to share that I’ve decided to write a new chapter in my life with Tracker Network.

I was fortunate enough to be able to join the ride early enough to see Overwolf growing, advancing, and learning every day while creating the ultimate ecosystem for developers and gamers.

My path with Overwolf started way back as an early alpha tester back in 2010, and with Uri Marchand accepting me for a community position as a young 17 years old.

Back then, after six months, I had to move forward for a military service, which followed by joining other startups, and to start my own company.

Uri was there along the way to support and provide advice, and I was lucky enough to be able to join Overwolf for the second time.

Overwolf’s mission is to build the richest content platform for gamers while empowering 3rd party developers to make content and services, and I was in a unique position — making sure that all our partners have everything they need, build strong relationships, and shaping new products.

Creating consumer products from scratch is the toughest thing, and I took part in hundreds of projects for top PC games created by amazing startups, single developers and small teams of creative minds who are honestly hardcore gamers who want to give back to the community and to build a business. Overwolf is the present and future of UGC.

During this journey, I have built a fantastic team that I will miss the most. A group of young, energetic, and caring partnerships managers who do everything from A to Z — Taking a developer or a team hand by hand, guiding them, and making sure they can go to the finish line, which follows by another finish line. And another one. UGC is a journey, and when you build consumer products, you need to have the best of the best with you. The Developer Success team at Overwolf has never been stronger and is going to be led by the most amazing Avner Florenthal — a friend, and a real badass.

The thing you need the most as a content creator or a startup entrepreneur, though, is patience. Support a game that you understand and play. Talk to your users, understand the pain points, and be patient. For some, it will probably take more than a few months to see a single breakthrough; to others, it will take weeks or less. But it will always be a path you pave by yourself, and you should always be on the guard because the industry we are at is changing all the time.

I decided to move forward because I felt in a weird position for some time. I wanted to understand what I want to do in the future. In the past ten years, I held unique community management positions in gaming and esports, and with Tracker Network, I will have the challenge of being a content creator myself. I’m basically moving to the other side, the one that Overwolf set a mission for itself to understand how to build in the most meaningful way.

Uri, on a more personal note, this is honestly just the beginning. You are a friend and a great mentor, and I am forever grateful for taking me on this journey with Overwolf. It has shaped me in so many ways.

To the entire Overwolf community of partners, you are in excellent hands. Overwolf continues to grow with you, and so many great things are now cooking. The gaming industry is changing rapidly, literally every day, and this community is probably the most unique ecosystem ever built. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey, and if you ever need to talk, I am still around :)

Thank you, and let the games begin.
